Employment Possibilities During and After Study
The attractive perks of on-campus job, off-campus work, co-op positions, and internships for up to 20 hours per week while completing their studies are available to students who are applying to Canada for study. It is a terrific method to reduce living expenses while also gaining useful knowledge. In addition, if you earn your degree in Canada, you will be qualified to apply for a post-study work permit for up to three years if you meet the following criteria:
- Your course must last at least eight months and you must be a full-time student in Canada.
- After finishing your course, you have 180 days to apply for a work permit. Also, you need to provide documented evidence from your institution or university, such as a transcript or an official letter.
- While submitting an application for the PGWP, you must present a current student visa. Further information regarding the prerequisites for post-graduation employment permits is available.
